Final Cut’s Straight8 Shootout Film The Cutter

As part of the Straight8 Industry Shootout, we were given the challenge of creating a film with ‘one super 8 cartridge no editing’ and that result, along with the other entrants, premiered earlier this summer at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity!

In the timeless words of James Cameron’s 1984 classic The Terminator:

“The machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire. Their war to exterminate mankind raged for decades, but the final battle would not be fought in the future. It would be fought here, in our present. Tonight…”

… At Final Cut, in Soho.
