Last week was a big one here in New York for Final Cut! We brought home a handful of Pencils and Cubes from The One Club for Creativity’s Creative Week for some of our favorite (and most important, in our opinion) work of the year!
On Monday night, The New York Times “The Truth Is Worth It” campaign, made in collaboration with Droga5, Furlined‘s Martin+Lindsay, Significant Others and our very own Jim Helton took home a Gold Cube at the ADC Awards for Craft in Motion / Film – Editing in addition to a Gold Cube for Best Of Discipline / Motion / Film Craft as well as the coveted Black Cube for Best of Show!
And at The One Show, Jim brought home a Gold Pencil for “The Truth Is Worth It” in the Moving Image Craft / Editing category, while Jeff Buchanan‘s “Welcome Home” took home a Silver Pencil in the category as well.
On Friday night, we wrapped things up with one more Gold Pencil for Best of Film.
All in all, not a bad week for us and our friends over at Droga5, Furlined and the New York Times. We feel privileged to have collaborated on this powerful campaign.
