Last week’s annual AICP Show saw work edited at Final Cut celebrated across multiple categories, with editors taking home awards for their work at both the main show and the AICP Post Awards.
At the AICP Show, Dan Sherwen’s work on The New York Times “The Truth Takes a Journalist” was awarded in the Editorial category, while Amanda James’ Channel 4 Paralympics “Super. Human.” was awarded for Advertising Excellence and Residente “This Is Not America,” edited by Arianna Tomasettig, won in the Music Video category. The New York Times and Channel 4 Paralympics, along with Joe Guest’s Burberry “Open Spaces,” also saw success across a wide range of other categories throughout the night.
Meanwhile, at the AICP Post Awards, Jeff Buchanan won in Best Editing: Comedy for his his work on Extra “For When It’s Time,” while Amanda James was awarded for Best Editing: Montage, again for her work on Channel 4 “Super. Massive congratulations to all the editor’s whose work was celebrated across the awards shows, and a big thanks to all our creative collaborators on these projects.
